Laughter

I just want to share this ear to ear laughter of my little lamb chop. Most of time, she is the first to sit in the dinner table and the last one to leave also. We are lucky that this lamb chop is such a good eater. One dinner I tried to take picture of her with her feet up on the chair but she noticed it and said cheese. So, I made faces and she started giggled and laughing. She laugh if you make faces in front of her which is opposite with Jake when he was at this age. Jake laughed on some rough game like tickles him, and do something tiring. While this lamb chop will just laugh when you make sounds, make faces and simple things like that.
Laughter is the best medicine

Peruse the Driver's Manual

In the country where I came from, learning how to drive is not necessary because we have public transportation like jeepney and taxi cab that can take us to the places we want to go such us work, mall and everywhere. It doesn't matter if you have a car or not because there is a 24 hours commute available especially in the city. Meanwhile, if you live in the US you definitely have your own vehicle and you cannot operate such if you do not have a driver's license. I have been in this country for almost four years now but I still do not know how to drive. My husband said I have to start perusing this driver's manual so that he can start teaching me how to drive and practice test for driving which is needed in getting a driver's license.

Thus, getting a driver's license is not as easy as we thought it would be. With that being said, you need to pass all the different test required by the DMV to be granted with driver's license. Taking a written test to get your drivers license is one of the requirement which is really so annoying. There is no free ride in getting driver's license, so perhaps you will surely need money in getting your license as well. However, if you want to pass your state’s written drivers test, then I would suggest to check out DMV Cheat Sheets as your DMV Study Resources. Apparently, the DMV practice test will help you master your driving written test and guaranteed to pass your state’s written drivers test. Visit the website today and get your test answer now.

Blue Monday - Random Blues

My lamb chop busy watching her favorite show Dora. Taking advantage of the chance to watch her Dora while the buckaroo was dozing off to lalaland.
Took this photo in Eat N' Park when we had lunch last week. The Blue Monday was the first thing that sparked in my head when I saw the blue color.
Last week i also won a perfume in Listia. I thought it was a big bottle as that what i saw in their auction list. Then last Tuesday the perfume arrived on the mail and I was surprised or disappointed to see these.

Baby Bath

The sneaky girl strike again. One morning after i pulled her out from her crib and was busy picking up Jake's little engine in his bed because he always sleep with it at night which means buzz and woody are out now. Well, the wonder kikay sneaked out so fast and went straight to the bathroom. I thought she was over with the dipping her hand in the toilet silliness. I ran after her as fast as i could but it was too late because she already there and quickly dipped the dog her baby in the toilet bowl saying baby bath. I laughed with her reaction when I caught her. She said, "Oh-oh, baby bath". Poor little stuff dogie. This is one of her favorite stuff animal. She kissed this guy, and take it everywhere. One time Jake had his lunhc in the living room. Justine sat with him with the baby (stuff dog) in her hand and put it in Jake's plate. She said baby eat. LOL I reprimand her because it's kuya's food, but she kept doing it and said baby eat. The bihon and rice were all over the stuff dog's face. I'm telling you, it's not easy being Justine. She had to do what she gotta do. hehehe

I want to be a super Mommy

Although I haven’t been sick too much lately, sometimes I still feel kind of tired without really knowing why. I mean I still do the same chores and routine as I did before but somehow I get tired easily nowadays.

Maybe it’s because my kids are growing up too fast and keeping up with them takes more of my energy than before, or maybe it’s just my age, I really am getting older. Or, maybe it might even be excessive fatigue in women. I’ve read this online some time ago and I never really knew about it until then.

It’s actually related to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and the signs that point to have it are a lot and may be experienced simultaneously. I personally don’t want to think I have it, but it’s better to just read about it and then be prepared for it. For now though, I’d just rather think it’s the time I give to my kids. I get tired because I have daughter in nearing her terrible two stage and a son who is 3, which they say is even worse than the terrible twos.

I know they will both taper down as they grow older. I just need to hang in there for a couple more years. I can do it. We all can be super moms when it comes to our kids and families, right?

In the Mood for Shopping

It's been two weeks already since the last time I shopped online. I bought a pair of boots through the daily deals in MyPoints. I used the boot yesterday and it was comfortable. I love it.

Now I need something new to go with this boots so I can wear it this spring. I saw tons of dereon lovely dresses and jeans but those simple and affordable tops caught my attention. Am in the mood for shopping at this moment to celebrate my newly makeover blog. The problem is, my paypal is emtpy. What a shame! I guess I'll just have to wait for few more days to have money in my paypal and have this shopping itch cured.

Stool and Potty Training

My friend asked me where I bought the stool that Jake used when he was sitting on the potty. I told her my SIL gave that two stools for Jake and Justine. It was a hand-me-down actually. These stools are very useful. They can use it to stepped on when brushing their teeth, washing their hands and switching lights. One time, Jake carried one of this stool to our room where the bookshelves is because he was trying to reach the Thomas and Friends book that I hid in there. We do not have library but we need library step stools to easily reach those books that is place on top of our book shelves. Besides, Jake will sure need one of this soon if we have our own house and have small library area in the room. By the way, thanks to my SIL in Chicago to sending tons of books and stuff including these stools for my monkeys.

However, potty training is never easy. You watch different potty training video, read several books about potty training and even research online about it yet, you still find it so hard to make it 100% potty trained. During the first week of this month, I thought I just needed to be consistent in putting him on the potty. But this past week, my consistency seems never work out. I put him in the potty the same time of the day but he wasn't doing it anymore. He would scream he pooped and did it but he already flushed the toilet. I also did not see or smell anything. In other words, out potty training lately is not doing well.

Let's Get Physical

Being fit is “in” nowadays but as some friends have told me, if you want to go into a routine workout, you have to prepare your body and mind. They advised me to learn about taking a pre workout supplement to prepare my body for the changes it will go through. I used to go to the gym when I was still single with some of my friends at school. That work out have helped me to relax my mind and released the stress.

I must admit though, I don’t have all the time in the world to religiously follow a routine. Sometimes I even feel that having 2 kids at home is already a heavy workout on its own. But maybe when they grow up and be a little bit more independent, then I can think of going to the gym for some exercise.

Nytnyt Sweetie

My little lamb chop was a good sleeper since the day she was born. She sleep through the night although she had been a co-sleeper until she was abound six to seven months old I guess. We moved her to the crib when Jake turned 2 years old. But most of the time when the lamb chop slept in our room, she was in her bassinet. When she moved to her room, there were only few days she woke up crying but she doesn't want to sleep in our bed. She'd rather sleep in Jake's bedroom than co-sleeping with us.

Now that she is a toddler, she seldom take a nap and she would go to bed at night around 8:00 o' clock. We can tell if she is ready for bed because she will come to us and say nanyt. There are few times though but not frequent when she wakes up at the middle of the night crying. Sometimes she wakes up at the middle of the night singing. This photo below, she was tired already but she can't go to sleep right away so she stayed in her crib just talking to her baby, that's what she call her stuff animals. And if she takes a nap, expect her to wake up at the middle of the night and won't stop crying until you pulled her out her crib.

Milestones, Appointments and Development

Jake had his Pediatrician appointment yesterday. The doctor advised to buy some board games to play that teaches him how to share. So, far he is doing great health wise but since he is already three years old he needs to get a dental check up. The potty training still not fully successful yet but he is doing good so far. There were time he would say he wants to go potty but there were also time he doesn't however, he will go potty I let him sit on the potty. His vocabulary is getting better too, I mean he can say the words in complete sentence and use courtesy words like thank you, and please. But, we have to be careful with the words that comes out from out mouth as he can follow and imitate us.

As for my lamb chop, she already had her doctors appointment first week of this month. She is one smart girl as she can also copy your action so quickly. I showed her one time the action song Head, shoulder, knees and toes while I was singing I was pointing to these different parts of her body. She absorbed it so easily and she can say each of these words either. Every time we read books she can point to the object and name them even if it sounded gibberish. Her favorite word and picture would always be dog and ball. She can say lots of words now. I'm so proud and will always be to my dragonz J&J. They are always be my dragonz as they always sucked up all my power and energy.LOL

Blue Monday - Birthday Blues

Let's have some pah-tay!!! I spotter lots of blues during Jake's birthday and during his party at Chuck E. Cheese. Here is the Birthday bag where the present was.
The ice cream cake for the birthday boy. I apologize to Jake's guest during his party at CEC because we already ate the cake on the day of his birthday. We thought it might melt and it was our first time having a party at CEC so we didn't have a clue what the place looks like and how the party is gonna be.
Anyway, here is another blue. The table cover for the birthday star. Poor little guy, he did not have cake and candle to blow during his party.
And the blue and splendid sky we had last Saturday. I took this one on our way home from CEC. My pretty lamb chop was having melt down inside the car because of the sunlight that blinded her eyes and she was sleepy.
Can you spot the moon? Jake said, Mama look, the moon. Hubby and I answered, you silly. Moon only comes out during night time. But when I looked up at the sky, it really was a moon. We left the house at 1:30-ish which means this moon came out at 2:00 o clock in the afternoon.
Take a closer look at the moon.

Justine was already fussing on our way to CEC because the sun was in her side while Jake was so quiet. On the way home the sunlight made the feisty dragonz inside the car fussy.

A Sleeping Baby Is A Happy Baby

Do you know that a sleeping baby is a smart and happy baby? I'm sure your pediatrician told you that and you also read that in the book. Perhaps, giving birth is the most miraculous journey every mother has experienced. When the baby born, we cannot hardly wait the moment to bring them home. We do not mind the first couple of weeks waking up at the middle of the night when the baby cries. However, when baby don't get enough sleep during the night they more likely fuss during the day. It is best to know the reason why the baby cries and can't sleep through the night. Common reason for fussy baby could be wet diaper and needs to be change, hungry, gassy stomach or lack of sleep.

When it comes to your baby's safety, it is very important to read about best crib mattress reviews before deciding to buy a mattress for you baby's crib. Having the a comfortable mattress will help the baby sleep though the night and you also have peace of mind that he is safe in his own room. Birthday, Presents, Potty

1 Year old birthday

2 Year old Birthday

3 Year Old Jake

We had simple birthday celebration today for Jake. I'm too lazy to upload some of the photos we had. I'll just do it tomorrow after we get home from Chuck E Cheese. Anyway, we had ice cream cake and I cooked spaghetti and breaded shrimp, that was it. He was more excited with his presents which was a set of his favorite little engine Thomas and Friends.

Earlier today, we received the birthday presents for Jake from gorgeous tita Dhemz. Thanks tsang, will upload the thank you video from Jake soon hehee. He love the gift and he never shared it with me and Justine. We are only allowed to watch but restricted to enter. Justine and I had sneak in inside his tent and he was upset. He said, get out mama, get out sissy go away.waaaa. He doesn't know the meaning of sharing or he just don't want to share on things that he like rather. When he saw his little engine presents from Dada, he forgot about the tent. And of course, the lamb chop wants to play those little engine too so she started messing up with the buckaroo. That fun did not lasted for hours because the birthday boy was overwhelmed and throw a tantrum.

Meanwhile, I am so proud with my Jake as he is getting good at pooping in the potty. I just have to regularly monitor his potty training and I'm sure we will succeed. He can poop on his own now, although there were few accidents because I missed to put him on the potty. It's acceptable as well that he can't control himself to pee on his underwear but he knows how to tell us that he peed. Our bathroom is 14 steps away from our living room, and he haven't learned yet to go run upstairs to pee. Thus, we are getting there, and I am so proud of him.

Thanks again tsang Dhemz for the banner and everything.

They're Getting Bigger

My little lamb chop is now using her toddler car set. Yeahhh, mama just got promoted to the front seat because she just turned 12 years old lol. My lamb chop actually have been doing great, she occasionally, pee in the potty too if I put her on the potty in the morning. And the buckaroo did a great job today because he pooped on his own. He sat on the potty for more than half hour then he called me and said, "Mama I did it". He sure did, and I am so proud of you Jake. We gave him wetwayt (edward) the cho cho as a reward.

Right about bed time, I was getting them ready for bed when the buckaroo said, "Mama I poop". He did not able to hold his poop. Babger and I were both upset so we took wetwayt back and he threw tantrum fit waaa. But we will give it back to him tomorrow. Still we are very proud if him though for pooping in the potty today.
