My Bald Little Man

Couple of days ago I gave Joe and Jake a hair cut and Jake really look great with his hair. Then Saturday we went for a bike ride at Franklin and the buckaroo can't keep his hand from scratching. His eczema is back again and that made him mesirable. So, we decided that the hair has to go. And here he is now. Baldy little man.

I love Jake hair but it's making him sweat more. So bye bye pretty hair.

The bald big J and little J.

Dream to Watch Baseball in a Stadiums

I really want to experience watching baseball in a big and wide stadium live. My husband promised me before to take me to a baseball game sometime but I guess it will end up as promise. Then, yesterday out of now where he mention to watch baseball this year and when I confronted him of when would be the possible date, all of a sudden he changed his mind. He was busy all afternoon computing the family budget and learned that there is no enough money for the tickets because we also have different plans this summer that requires money. American love sports and they do everything just to cheer on theirfavorite team. If I am given the chance to watch any sports life I would like to watch it in Yankee Stadium because I'm a Yankee fan. Yankee Stadium and stadium tickets are available now at Ticket America. You can also buy ticket at Amway Arena as they carry arena seating, box office seats and stadium club seating. Visit the site for details and information. You can pick any stadium that are listed in ticketamerica.com that you want would want to get tickets. Perhaps you can choose a staduim that is close by in your area like American Airlines Center - TX. Ticket America is the #1 source for tickets that offers the most comprehensive inventory of tickets on the web. So, check it out now and enjoy the game.

Shop for GPS Device

It happened to us many times that we got lost on the road. If we go some place that we are not familiar with, my husband will get the direction from Google map online. But for some reason that direction is that always precise and direct. It never tells your simple details that is so confusing to follow. I know some of us are so dependent to Google in finding direction or surfing the net. But I think buying your own GPS Device would make the trip a lot easier and quicker. At shopwiki you can find different devices that you can use in your car such as car speaker, car receivers and Car DVD Players for the kids when you go for a long trip. But if you and the family love to go for camping a Car Audio and Video will keep the whole family entertained while watching your favorite video music or shows. The GPS device you see in the photo is called TomTom ONE XL. It is a complete portable GPS vehicle navigation device with an incredible range of features. It has bright wide screen display and makes you see even more of the road ahead. Check out shopwiki today and find everything and anything you need for such affordable prices. Only ShopWiki revolutionizes the online shopping since it finds every store on the Internet by crawling like Google. ShopWiki.com. has more products from more stores that give better deals and savings for your readers. So, what are you waiting for?

Jake and Joe New Look

NOW

BEFORE

It was a busy hair today at our end. I gave Joe_dub a buzz cut and Jake a hair cut. Good thing the buckaroo was very cooperative. It is helps the kid to settle down while you are giving them a haircut if they see their father having a haircut too. Boys usually look up at their father so i guess that helps when we let him watch while I was give Joe a buzz cut.

More about Prenatal Vitamins

In addition to my previous post, aside from taking prenatal vitamins regularly eating well is also needed. You are eating for two now when you are pregnant. You need to eat healthy food for you and the baby and you also need more calcium and iron to have a healthy bone. Don't miss a day without taking your prenatal vitamins because it is very important in baby's development. It has vitamins and minerals to have a healthy pregnancy. It contains calcium, iron and folic acid that can prevent the risk of having a baby with serious spinal problems. I remember when I was pregnant with my eldest my doctor asked us to have sonogram again and again because they can't see Jake's spinal. We had like five sonogram before they get what they want. When you are pregnant talk to your baby inside you womb or read them books. Exercise is also very helpful during pregnancy. Enjoy your pregnancy because a happy mother will likely to have a happy baby.

The Ups and Downs of Pregnancy

I have taken the best prenatal vitamins when I was pregnant with Jake and Justine. We all know that prenatal vitamins would help the baby's development inside the mother’s womb. It is common feeling to have nausea and morning sickness when you are pregnant but taking your prenatal pills would help ease up the unpleasant feeling. You only feel that morning sickness in the first trimester of the pregnancy. There are lots of ups and downs in pregnancy. You also feel anxious about your baby inside you if he is alright but once you feel his heart beat that feeling is heaven. I like watching pregnant woman because i can also feel their happiness in carrying a human life inside their womb. Then, giving birth is the treasured moments that you'd always want to replay inside your mind. You forget all the pain in labor and delivery once you see your baby's head coming out from you. It’s magical. So, to all mommy or mommy to be who are expecting baby congratulations!

Feeding while Blogging

The reason why sometimes I can't visit all my virtual friends is because this little girl is always want to be held. She would stay under the computer table or by the computer chair fussing and whining. Both jake and Justine don't want me to sit in front of the computer.

And because i have to do some blogging or else I don't have moolah even if its awkward position had to do it. She doesn't want to lay down drinking her milk and she still doesn't know how to lift up her bottle either. So, while doing some blogging stuff my other hand is holding and feeding her milk.

When she is done, she like standing on my legs facing at me so she can pull my hair or put her finger in my mouth, or kiss me with drool or slap my face and giggles. Then if Jake sees us, he would join us. That is why I am always busy bumble bee. It's a tiring job but extremely fun and it's our life.

A Handful

I was doing my laundry one time and then I placed the laundry basket with the wet clothes in teh side because i was taking a break. I sat in front of the computer and when I turn around the handful little lambcaho was there pulling each one of the clothes out from the basket. I don't have dryer so when i do the laundry I have to hang it up in the attic to dry. Then, Jake and Justine working hand in hand to make the house trashy hehehe. I hope it would be hand in hand to keep the house clean but that is not thecase with my handful kids. Justine right now is becoming a handful, everything she see she put it in her mouth. If she sees me picking up the toys she would follow and pull them out from the bucket. Before it was only jake who used to do that and now there's Justine. So, this two little rugrats are very good in trashing the place and giving me extra job. And once the toys are all over the place they don't want to play with it anymore and find other organized toys to play with. Today, Justine found the box of diapers and scattered them on the floor. Oh brother! help me hehehe.

Sleeping Lambchop

Justine is 9 months and 3 weeks old but still sleeping with us. There were couple of times that I put her in the crib at night and she was okay but then when she woke up and found out that she was alone in the room she cried and scream. And the next night I tried to put her again in the crib she won't stop screaming so back to our bed again. After few weeks from that first attempt, I tried to put her again in the crib. She cried a little but then went to sleep afterwards. That was her position when I checked on her that night. Then again when she woke up that morning and I wasn't next to her she cried. The next night she scream so loud with crocodile tears and top of her lungs kind of scream. Now, she is back in our bed again hehehe. She is just so attach to me. Even if I'm in the kitchen she is always there watching me, and if im in front of the PC she is under the computer table standing holding to my legs, shorts or chair. Last night after giving her a bath i tried to pur her in the crib and she won the fight. I will try to put her in the crib again sometime this week well see of whats gonna happen.

I Give Up

I mentioned in some of my blog post that I am trying to lose weight but my diet is not working because I can't control my appetite. I am such a pig when it comes to food. No more diet for me I give up. I think I need a motivation so I would take it seriously. Perhaps some weight loss tips that come from the experts would help me find any techniques or ideas on how to lose weight. It was funny though because when I tried to do some exercise like curl ups couple of days ago my kids started riding on my stomach. They thought I was playing. We are thinking of going to Slippery Rock this coming Thursday and go to Franklin bike trail fro some bike ride. Bicycle ride is a great exercise I guess I will just stick to this exercise for now. This is also a good diet. Wish me luck!

For My Mom

My Mom is on diet right now because of her health. She is diabetic and has high blood pressure. Aside from that she also has other illness that hard to understand as complications from her existing health problem. The high blood and diabetic I think are genetic because her Father had that kind of illness before he died. My late grandfather had a mild stroke before due to his high blood pressure. Getting sick is the least thing we don't want to happen to us or to our family and love ones. Anyhow, my parents are getting older now and I hate to say this but they are showing changes in their health. The last conversation I had with my parents over at yahoo messenger using headphone and webcam, she asked me to buy her something for her high blood pressure. I have to look also for cholesterol treatment for my Mom. That is why I am trying to save right now so I could also buy her medicine for her high blood pressure and the bracelet for high blood that she also requested. My sister will be going back to the Philippines next month so she will bring all of the things that my family demanded. It will save me money and trip to the post office to mail it. My Mom is a very strong person despite of her condition she still trying to be active in church and not to get affected with her health condition. I am also worried my father because he has his own share of health problem. I never stop praying for my parents to be always healthy, and that God will give them more years to live here on earth.

In Plain Sight’s Characters are Deep

Thanks to Harper Abbott for sending this post in

Since I was finally able to get satellite TV thanks to the new directtv package prices, I’ve been watching In Plain Sight every chance I get. The show is on Wednesday nights at 10 o’clock pm on the USA network. Each episode is different yet adds to the depth of the characters.

This show takes place in Albuquerque - Santa Fe, New Mexico. "In Plain Sight" is a very different type of crime drama television. In this show, the crime has already happened. These characters have agreed to testify at trial about what they have seen or been a part of. In exchange for their testimony, they are given the opportunity to relocate and start their lives again with new identities in the Federal Witness Protection Program (WITSEC) . "In Plain Sight" episodes illustrate the difficulty that relocation has on these people.

Mary McCormack is wonderfully talented actress who plays US Marshal Mary Shannon. Mary is a no-frills type of girl. She is often a harsh realist who takes her job very seriously.

Fred Weller is witty and charming and plays US Marshal Marshall Mann. Once people get over the irony of Marshall’s name, they find a caring, intelligent man who just wants to make the transition easier for everyone.

Paul Ben-Victor’s character’s name is Stan McQueen. Stan is a Chief Inspector for the Witness Protection Service for the Southwest region. Stan is a great boss who believes in his team. He knows that Mary & Marshall are excellent partners who work great together, though he’s not sure how.

Mary Shannon’s family is yet another major challenge in her life. Her mother Jinx, played by Leslie Ann Warren, is an alcoholic who can’t hold a job and expects her daughter to save her, especially from herself. Mary has a sister named Brandi, played by Nichole Hiltz. Brandi has all the same self-destructive habits as her mother.

Brushing the little teethsis

Justine already have two teeth at the bottom and the ones on top start portruding already. I think it will come out soon. She is having fever once in a while. It come and go because of the teeth. I start brushing her teeth to keep it clean. She seems to liking it and ask for more if i brush her teeth. She is very cooperative if I brush her teeth different with Jake.

The Importance of Baby Teeth
Several reasons why baby teeth should be taken care of from the moment they break through the gums.

1. Baby teeth hold a place and serve as spacers for the permanent teeth. Decay and early loss of these baby teeth can cause loss of space for the permanent teeth, which leads to the permanent teeth shifting and thus leads to orthodontic problems for your child.
2. Healthy baby teeth are important in helping your baby speak clearly and properly.
3. Nice looking teeth are important for your baby’s self-confidence. Missing teeth, decaying teeth or bad breath can lead to your child getting teased by other children.
4. Your baby will need these baby teeth for biting and chewing. Without these teeth, your child might not get the proper nutrition.

What do you think this one?

This picture was taken during Mothers day weekend when were on our way going to the Raccoon Creek to meet the Cottrills and Raquel.
The pretty badingding of Rose's Obstacles and Glories with Rylie and Justine were wearing blue on Mothers Day at the park.
The weekend before the Mother's Day weekend we went to the playground by our neighborhood.

The End and the Beginning

Written by Emma Baker

After a seven year marriage I made the decision that I would have to get on with my life. It was time for me to be happy for a change. I was sick and tired of always having to be the person that kept everyone around me happy. I decided that I would move to a place far away from everyone I knew. It was time for a change of scenery. I did some research at work and wound up finding the perfect place. I found a small cottage for rent near the ocean in Florida. I used money that I had been saving to pay a deposit and get the utilities and phone service turned on. I wanted everything to be ready when I arrived. This new home was over 100 miles away from where I was, but I managed to get everything done via the internet and phone.

The day that I left marked the end of my unhappy life. This would be the beginning of a new chapter for me. The whole trip there I blasted my favorite music, I sang at the top of my lungs, and I was the happiest I had ever been in my entire life. When I arrived at my new place I was amazed at what I had accomplished. I took in my few belongings and made a seat on the floor. Happy tears streamed from my eyes as I looked at the shabby little place I was surrounded by. It was almost completely empty. There was no furniture to speak of, and I didn’t even have Home Internetyet. I’d gotten a Clear TV Bundle but they wouldn’t set it up for two more days. I did not even know where I would lay my head to go to sleep that night. I did not care if I had to sleep on the cold hard floor. This place still made me ecstatic. This was my place and it was all that I needed for a happy life. This was the end and the beginning. I was finally happy.

Another J&J's Milestones

In this photo the little lambchop still trying to figured out how to climb up the stairs and jealous of the fact that Jake can climb up and down the stairs. Well, she works too hard in finding the ways how to use that tiny legs to climb up the stairs and all of her hard work has paid off. At 9 months and 2 weeks old she able to climb 12 steps of our 14 steps stairs. Yes, you read it right folk today May 18th marks the day that Justine able to climb the stairs. Yesterday, she fell from the stairs but I don't know how high i guess it was just 2 steps. I was taking a nap and Babger was watching Jake and Justine. He ran upstairs to take a dump and J&J followed him. The buckaroo knows how to move the playpen that we used to blocked the way going upstairs. So, when he followed the big J, the chubby J followed too. He called me to check Justine but i didn't hear him. Anyhow, the lil lambchop was fine after that fall, that is part of growing up no matter how careful and tight you watch them they still prone to accident. They also learn from that accident as part of life. I'm happy that she knows how to climb but I am scared as well because it means I have to follow them every single time. Tapos na maliligayang araw ko. Way to go Justine!

As for my buckaroo, today he said complete sentence like I know Mama is Nanyt. We were at the kitchen when the side of my body was aching and I curl down on the floor. He was mumbling talking this and that, snow, dada and others. He saw me with my position and he said I know Mama is nanyt and that was really cute. He had few words and sentence he keep using like
~ There you go
~ Take a bath
~ What is that
~ count 1 - 10, A to Z
~ Money and more words but few clear sentence because it more on gibberish.
I am proud of my kids. It's just a matter of time and they will learn lots of things.

Blue Monday - Blue Fun Weekend

It's time for Blue Monday hosted by Smiling Sally @ http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/. You might wanna stop by there and check out more blues. Our busy was pretty busy and yet fun-tastic. Saturday, the weather was fine and we went to Franklin to buy bike for big J and carriage for little Js. We also bought car rack for the bikes because we brought home my bike that my Mary (MIL) gave to me. Thanks for the bike Mary and for helping us with the carriage. We got lucky because she paid for the carriage and that helped us with our budget ahhh LOT!
Here is the lil lambchop wearing her blue with yellowdandlion flowers in her ears.
That the place where we bought the bike. It is a privately owned business and the owner is really nice. He knows a lot about bike and aside from that since the shop is right by the bike trail, buyers can try their bike if they like before deciding on buying it.
Then Sunday, we went for a bike ride. There is a bike trail close by where we live. It starts in greenfield and ends in downtown Pittsburgh.
This is the monongahela river on the Allegheny Plateau. At Pittsburgh, it meets the Allegheny River to form the Ohio River.
Happy Blue Monday everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Hello!!! This is Jek

I just want to share this video of jake having a phone conversation with Joe few weeks ago. Have you ever wonder why kids love telephone? I think most kids or toddler like to stay in the phone and pretend that they are talking to someone. Jake sometimes mimic his father in talking over the phone. He walks back and forth, going to the door and kitchen. Every time he sees me talking to someone over the phone he would grab the phone and wants to talk to that person too. If you don't give the phone major outburst and if you give the phone and take it back from him to end the call another major fit. Anyhow, we are leaving early tomorrow to slippery rock to look for bike for hubby. He needs to buy a new one because his old bike is in the bad conditon already. I hope y'all have a fun weekend. Enjoy!

9 Months Appointment & New LO

This little chick right here has had her 9 months Doctor's appointment yesterday. She didn't get a shot, thanks goodness but she got a blood test. The nurse had to take some blood from her finger for some test as part of the check up. She did great according to Doctor Brick; her pediatrician. She is a good doctor and J&J likes her. So, anyhow Justine cried when the take little blood from her finger but when they came home she was all smile trying to take the bad aid off her finger. What a tough lil lambchop, we are proud of you sweetie.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank tsang Dhemz for my new blog layout and header. She designed the old one too and I love it until my browser missed up with the whole sizes of my blog. If you still have time folks maybe you would like to say hello to the savvy mama, just pressed any of these buttons.
